At the core of every variation is a 3.25-inch satin-finished blade crafted from 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel (equivalent to SUS440C), heat treated and cryogenically tempered to HRC 58–60 for excellent edge retention and durability. The blade features a 3.125-inch cutting edge, a full 8.375-inch overall length, and a 0.120-inch thickness for strength in a compact profile. Two 0.125-inch tang holes spaced at 4.0-inch center-to-center provide secure handle construction, and an integral finger guard design enhances control and safety. Stainless steel pinstock is included in all kits.
The Lil Sendero™ Collection is offered in multiple build configurations to match different maker preferences. The base kit includes the blade blank and pinstock only—ideal for builders who prefer sourcing and shaping their own handle materials. The remaining variations elevate the experience with pre-matched hardwood handle scales, simplifying construction while still allowing full customization, shaping, and finishing.
