Knife Making Parts and Folding Knife Hardware
Shop knife making supplies for folders and fixed blades, from pivots, pivot washers, pocket clips and thumbstuds to handle bolts, tang nuts, pinstock, guards and pommels. Screws in inch and metric threads, coil and leaf springs for automatic knives, and Damascus and San Mai blade steel fill out the selection.
Pivots and washers give folder builders press fit, threaded barrel and designer pivots, along with washers in four materials for smoother blade action. Titanium and stainless backspacers are under standoffs and stop pins, and pocket clips come in universal and foldover styles. Thumbstuds and inlay stones covers stainless and titanium studs plus faceted and cabochon stones for bezel-set studs. Automatic knife builders will find coil, leaf and push button springs, and a frame lock stop and balisong spacers round out the folder side.
On the handle side, handle fasteners include Corby, Gulso, Loveless, hidden bolt and acorn nut styles plus cutlery rivets, in brass, nickel silver, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum. Handle pins in brass, nickel silver and 416 stainless share the pinstock and tubing page with mosaic pins, G10® rod and thong hole tubing. Bushings and tang nuts cover two jobs, fitting a smaller pin to an oversized tang hole and securing the handle on a hidden tang knife. Pommels and guards in nickel silver, bronze, brass and stainless steel finish hidden tang knives, many of them engraved.
Screws are sorted by thread, from 0-80 up to 8-32 plus 2.5mm, 3mm and set screws, with button, flat and socket heads in Torx and Phillips drives, many as a 25-pack. A 0-80 tap and drill set and a faux screw for stripped holes help with threading and repairs. Knife making steel covers USA-made Damascus, Gambler Custom™ San Mai, 15N20 high carbon bar stock and brass or 440C bolster blanks. Matching a thread or pivot on an existing knife?
