Heavy-Duty Snap Sets for Sheaths and Holsters
Shop heavy-duty snap sets built to fasten leather, KYDEX®, nylon and canvas, whether the project is a sheath, a holster, custom leatherwork or field gear. Line 20 suits 5 to 7 oz leather while Line 24 handles 8 to 10 oz, and the Line 24 range adds Pull-the-Dot® sets, a black Durable™ set and decorative designer caps.
Line 20 and Line 24 differ in build as well as in the leather they suit. Line 20 has a smaller cap diameter and a shorter post for thinner sheath and holster leather, while the larger cap and longer post of Line 24 make it sturdier for heavier applications. The standard sets in both lines come in nickel silver plate, gunmetal or brass, and each includes the post, male, female and cap for one complete snap.
For a decorative touch, the designer sets put one of 24 cap designs on a Line 24 snap, with choices such as Star, Round Head Indian Coin and Regular Skull. Pull-the-Dot® sets come in coyote brown, black oxide or nickel silver, and the plain black Durable™ set is self-piercing and made of heavy-gauge brass or stainless steel.
Use the matching Snap Setter tool, sold separately, for each standard, Pull-the-Dot® and designer set, and the SSETL24 Snap Setter for the Durable™ set.
