Assembly Instructions

1.      Put Pivot (2.) into both right side handles. Make sure they are seated all the way into the handle. A small brass rod, or soft rod and small hammer will work to tap them into place.

2.      Assemble backspacers (11) to right handles using the 4-40 (7) screws.

3.      Lay handles (6) on a flat surface, put 4 each washers; (1) on each pivot.

4.      Place blade (4) on pivots towards the open position.

5.      Place latch pin (10 and the latch spindle (8) into the hole in the rear on the side you prefer.

6.      Lay handles (6) into place making sure to align the pivots, backspacers and rear latch pin into the proper holes.

7.      Place 6-32 Button Head Screws (5) into the pivot holes, tighten slightly.

8.      Please the 4-40 screws (7) into the backspacer holes and tighten the screws making sure the latch pin is in the proper holes

9.      Adjust he pivot screws (5) and tighten the set screw (3) after adjustment to secure the pivot adjustment.

10.   Place the latch Head (9) onto the Latch spindle (8) adjust the head in and out to the proper latch tension when opening and closing. Place the 4-40 jam screw (7) into the latch end and tighten to keep the latch head in place.

Note: Please see the instructions for the NLT Pivot for fine tuning the pivots after assembly.
