VaporRez is an engineered resin composite that works much like phenolic material. Its scale sets ship as one book-matched pair in sizes such as 5.85 x 1.5 x 0.25 inches, while the 5.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 inch blocks hold enough for several scale sets or a hidden tang slide-over handle. The pen blanks suit inlays, folders, pens and bottle stoppers. Voodoo Resins scale sets and slabs are mosaics of pearlescent resin, with honeycomb aluminum inside the slabs, while Super Naturals sets hold sea shell fragments in dyed resin. GripX is a rubber-impregnated composite that cuts, sands and polishes like G10 and carbon fiber.
