These are the parts we’ll be working with for this project.



The tape helps while you sand the scales flat on the side that will be placed against the blade shank.



Clamp each scale to the blade shank and drill thru the existing holes using a 3/32” drill.



Cut 2 pins about 1/8” longer than the thickness of the handle and make a trial fit.



Mix 2-part epoxy and spread it thinly over all pieces.



Clamp securely while the epoxy cures. Carefully wipe away any epoxy that squeezes out onto the blade
using an alcohol swab.



Protect the blade from scratches while you file and sand the handle to shape.
