Mounting Assemblies for Sheaths and Holsters
Shop mounting assemblies for attaching belt loops and clips to knife sheaths and holsters, joining material through eyelets and adjusting retention between formed layers. The selection covers plain and engraved Chicago screws in 10-packs, three HOLSTEX® slotted post assemblies, a Tek-Lok compatible Tactical Mounting Assembly, the adjustable MRD and a ModWing insert screw set.
Chicago Screw Assemblies draw a screw into a threaded post through the eyelets of a knife sheath or holster for a tight, secure fit. A 0.150 inch barrel suits a #6 eyelet and a 0.203 inch barrel a #8, and the 0.250 or 0.500 inch length sets how thick a stack it spans. Choose black oxide, black zinc stainless steel or nickel silver, with several black oxide heads engraved in a Cross, Star, Spider, Saw Blade or Buck Shot design.
For clip mounting, the HOLSTEX® SPTHA mounts Tek-Loks, Combat Loops, FOMI clips and Molle locks, with an EPDM washer for grip and a thin-edged 8-32 truss head screw that eases irritation against clothing or skin. Snugging the SPTHRA's truss head screw, with its EPDM standoff washer between the layers, sets retention in a holster or magazine carrier. The SPUMA sets the gap in fold-over sheaths and holsters, with posts from .125 inch (S) to .500 inch (XL). For Tek-Lok and similar systems, the Tactical Mounting Assembly secures belt loops and clips.
Mag holster makers can tune retention with the adjustable MRD, and anyone running a ModWing can replace its black oxide insert screw and hex nut with the matching combo. Our team can recommend an engraved Chicago screw head to match your sheath design, and our sheath and holster making hardware carries matching posts, screws and washers.
