Blade shaping starts with sanders and grinders, where Kalamazoo® belt sanders from 1 x 42 up to 2 x 72 sit beside the Burr King® 960-272, with attachments for both brands and a stainless steel bevel jig. Sanding belts from 24 to 600 grit are under abrasives, along with 8 inch discs, wet/dry sheets up to 2000 grit, buffing wheels and polishing compounds. For hardening, heat treating carries Ticronic® foil that helps keep scale off damascus and air-hardened tool steel blades.

For edges and spines, sharpening and file work offers carbide-faced file guides for bevels and thumb serrations, a Shark Bite serration wheel, a Wicked Edge® sharpening system and a leather strop. Drills covers a #55 bit matched to 1/16-inch detent balls, HSS step drills for recessed handle fasteners and carbide spade drills for holes in hardened steel. Inch and metric taps, dies and tap/drill sets fill the tapping and dies page. Torx drivers, spanner wrenches, ball peen hammers, coil spring pocket cutters and a blade grind slide rule for planning hollow grinds are on hand tools and workbench, and measurement tools pairs digital calipers with a metal screw identifier.

Handle assembly draws on adhesives such as G/Flex epoxy for bonding a blade to its handle, J-B Weld for bolsters and guards, and Vibra-Tite™ threadlockers that keep pivot screws and handle hardware from loosening. Once the knife is together, cleaning and lubrication has knife oils, Wicked Pivot oil for folders and waxes for blades and handles.
