Automatic Knife Springs - Coil, Leaf and Push Button

Shop coil springs, leaf spring stock, a push button actuator spring and a replacement leaf spring for the Camillus Cuda Dominator. Coil springs come in 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 inch diameters with High, MAXX and MEGA torque ratings for automatic knives, and the leaf stock is heat treated to 40-45 RC in 6 and 12 inch lengths.

Whichever coil spring diameter you choose, High Torque, MAXX Torque and MEGA Torque are offered as a 1-pack or 5-pack, and a Three Torque Sampler puts all three levels in one pack. The 5-pack and sampler options can include a 3/64 inch carbide spade drill for cutting the spring tip hole in a custom blade. The springs are heat treated and cryogenically processed, select MAXX Torque models carry a zinc coating, and they fit many coil-fired automatics, including models from Benchmade, Microtech, Pro-Tech, Boker and Paragon.

The leaf spring stock is carbon stainless steel you can machine, grind and shape into new or replacement leaf springs for custom automatic knives. The Camillus Cuda Dominator leaf spring is made in the USA and spring tempered in our shop, and it replaces a worn spring to bring back the knife's snap.

Sold as a 1-pack, the large push button actuator spring is spring tempered and cryo-treated, with a black DLC finish and a 0.180 inch diameter. It seats under the button in the pre-cut alignment cavity of automatic push button designs. If you are rebuilding an automatic, the knife making supplies page also carries pivots, washers and stop pins, and you can send us the brand and model when you are unsure which torque or diameter to order.
