Parts View (blade, guard and handles)
Mill a slot in each scale about .100” deep and a little longer than the blade tang.
Place the tang inside the slot on one scale; hold the scale tight against the guard
and drill through the existing hole in the tang using a #30 (.1285) drill.
Clamp both scales together on the tang and drill through the first hole and all the way through the
two scales.
Mix 2-part epoxy and coat all the parts. Assemble the scales and put the pin through the hole.
Securely clamp until the epoxy has cured.
Sand and polish the handle to suit.
