These are the basic kit parts we’ll be working with for this project

Start by inserting the longest pin in the rear, the second longest pin in the center,
and then the brass tube as shown. Add the back spacer/spring, then the lever as shown.

Radius the ends of the pivot pin.

Add the second liner, clamp the lever down as shown, put the blade in, and then tap the pivot pin thru.

Peen the ends of the pivot pin over, carefully peening and turning the knife over until the blade fits snugly
without binding. Careful here, check the blade often to be sure it doesn’t get too tight. Use a pin spinner to
secure the other pins.

File, sand and polish the pivot pin flush with the bolster on both sides.

Note: The handles pins have been spun, but can easily be peened.
Alternately, the pivot pin can also be spun instead of peening if desired.
