Shop pinstock and tubing for knife handles, from brass, 416 stainless steel and nickel silver pins to mosaic pins in seven diameters from 1/8 to 3/8 inch. Colored G10® rod, Decrofil™ pins and Embrite™ glow-in-the-dark rod add color to a handle, and brass or stainless steel thong hole tubing lines the lanyard hole.
Brass pin stock runs from .093 to .281 inch and 416 stainless steel from .062 to .750 inch, mostly in 3-inch or 6-inch lengths, and both arrive deburred for pinning handles, guards and bolsters. Nickel silver pins for folders are .082 inch across and come pre-cut in three lengths, ready to sand, peen or turn with a head spinner. G10® pinstock comes in 16 colors and 0.187 or 0.250 inch diameters, in rods about 6 inches long, with color running all the way through.
The four smaller mosaic sizes, 1/8 through 7/32 inch, set brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel or bronze in a black fill. Orders of 2 or more in these sizes may ship as longer lengths when available, so ask us about length if a handle needs a long pin. The three larger sizes add Art Pin designs such as the Maple Leaf, Wolf and Buck. Cut a pin to length, epoxy it in, and the pattern comes up as the handle is sanded and polished. Decrofil™ pins set a Toxic Green center in a brass shell or an Emerald Green center in copper. Embrite™ rod in Aqua, Lemon, Lime or Orange charges under natural or artificial light, then glows for up to 12+ hours.
Thong hole tubing doubles as handle fasteners, spacers and stand-offs. Brass comes in 0.187 or 0.312 inch and stainless steel in 0.187 to 0.375 inch, and both polish to a mirror finish. Handle bolts, bushings and guards are in our knife making hardware as well.
