Made in the USA in black or brass, our flaring eyelets hold the two layers of a KYDEX® or HOLSTEX® sheath or holster together once an eyelet flaring tool rolls the barrel over. A #6 needs a 3/16 inch hole and a #8 a 1/4 inch hole, while the barrel number that follows (6, 8, 9 or 12) matches two layers of about .060, .080, .093 or .125 inch. The #6 is offered with a 6, 9 or 12 barrel and the #8 with all four, each in a 25 or 100 pack.
Rapid rivets suit high-stress spots on leather, nylon and thermoformed sheaths and holsters, such as stitching that needs reinforcing or a belt loop or closure tab that needs binding in place. These 1/4 inch nickel plated rivets come ten caps and ten posts to a pack. For leather or canvas, a double cap rivet puts a finished cap on both faces of the joint. Nickel, black and brass versions each come in Medium or a longer-barreled Large. The 12 Gauge Shotgun Shell version adds an antique brass shell head just under an inch wide, sold as a 1-pack and made in the USA.
