Assembling the SS2.0/SS3.0 Kits

CAUTION:  KNIFE BLADE IS VERY SHARP!

Note:  With Exception of the Pivot Screws (2) and Clip Screws (2= T6), All screws use a size T5 TORX Driver. Pivot Pin Screw uses size special included Driver. Recommended Maxx Driver Multi-Torx Tool.

Assembly Instructions

· Assemble bolster (11) to liner (12) with assembly screw (5) leaving the screw loose for alignment
· Insert pivot pin (10) through bolster (11)
· Insert washer (14) over pivot pin (10). Align notch in liner.
· Place blade (1) on to pivot pin in open position
· Place the stop pin (11),  align with both liners
· Place washer (17) over pivot pin (10)
· Align standoffs (8) over holes between liners
· Align and place left liner (3) with pivot pin
· Insert flathead screws (7) and thread-in lightly
· Insert button lock spring (15) and button lock (2) into the hole in liner(3). Align bolster (4) and screw in lightly with (5).
· Close blade and check alignment. Adjust by slightly flexing liners. If necessary, tighten screws firmly do not over-tighten
· Attach handle scales of your choice or those provided in the upgrade kit with remaining short screws (5)
· Adjust and align all screws and tighten. Do not over tighten.
· Oil the knife and plunger before opening. Adjust pivot until the knife opens freely.
