Folding Knife Standoffs, Backspacers and Stop Pins
Shop blade stop pins and backspacer standoffs for folding knife builds, including hardened stainless CKK Standard pins in 3/16, 5/32, and 7/32 inch diameters and a 0.137in Stabilizer Design pin. Standoffs come in stainless Tri-Ring and Standard designs and in SK Design™ 6AL4V titanium by Steve Kelly.
The 3/16 inch CKK Standard stop pin is 0.300in long with a black oxide finish and helps keep the blade aligned in automatic and folding knives. The 5/32 inch pin is 3/8 inch long and the 7/32 inch pin is 1/2 inch long, both with chamfered ends and both suited to folders and balisongs. The 7/32 pin is made in the USA, and its ends can be polished to a mirror finish. The Stabilizer Design pin conceals the stop pin hole for a clean finish and adds strength to the build.
Backspacers, also called standoffs, add spacing and structural support to a folder. Steve Kelly's SK Design™ standoffs are CNC machined from 6AL4V titanium in five 2-56 sizes, and the raw titanium can be heat-colored to match the build. Darrel Ralph designed the stainless Tri-Ring standoff, which is 0.192in in diameter and 0.196in wide with a 2-56 threaded hole. The stainless Standard Design backspacer has a 0.248in outside diameter and a 0.156in width, and its through-hole clears a 1-72 screw or can be tapped for 2-56.
Our folder and fixed blade hardware carries the pivots, washers, and screws that go with these standoffs. For questions on width or thread before you drill, reach our team.
