Knife Carry and Display Supplies, Sheaths and Pouches

A finished blade needs something to ride in on the belt. The knife sheaths page has ready-made fixed blade sheaths, some leather and some nylon canvas, sized by blade length, plus kits for building a sheath around the knife itself. Leather kits are sewn by hand with the included waxed thread and needles, thermoform kits supply the sheet and hardware for a molded sheath, and the styles range across fixed blades, folding knives, a tomahawk and a multi-tool. If a flap pouch suits you better, look at belt pouches, where a snap-close leather pouch on a riveted loop carries a fixed blade and black nylon pouches in five sizes take folders.

Knives headed into storage or packed for a show benefit from a cover on the blade itself. Protective sleeves are orange Protecto-Mesh™ polyethylene ordered by the foot, trimmed to the knife and stretched around it, and the snug mesh helps keep an automatic knife from opening while it is put away. Tip protectors slip onto a sharpened point in rigid semi-clear or clear rubber flex styles, so the tip is less likely to break or poke through a pouch or roll.

Folding knives travel well in the zipper and display pouch range. The padded CKK LTD II unzips flat into a display pad lined with jewel cloth, and the Johnny Blade® canvas and nylon pouch has a lint-free foam fabric lining.
