Paracord and Japanese Lace Cord for Knife Handle Wrapping
Shop 550 paracord in 59 color options for knife handle wrapping and knife lanyards, plus a Japanese-style lace cord of flat black nylon. Both cords are 10 feet long per unit, and the paracord's nylon core is removable for flat-cord applications.
The braided nylon paracord comes in colors such as Black, Battle Drab, Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Desert Sand and Safety Orange, and eight options add a reflective tracer, Optic Orange and Vegas Blue among them. A wrap usually takes about a foot of paracord for each inch of handle, so measure the handle before you order.
The lace cord is meant for traditional Japanese knife handle wrapping, where it adds grip to tanto-style knives and tactical blades. Paired with Titebond adhesive, it forms a hardened, long-lasting handle wrap, and it appears in Kirby Lambert's Japanese Cord Wrapping video.
