Most of these IWB attachments are clips that mount on a sheath or holster and slip over a belt, waistband or pocket. One-piece polymer Model 6, 10 and V clips fold over the belt and can be drilled for extra holes, while the spring steel Model 7 comes undrilled. For adjustable cant, the Model 13 rotates through 180 degrees and the Model 14 through a full 360.

FOMI clips grip with spring tension and a bottom retainer lip, the X-Clip uses a similar design, and the U.C.C. and Tango 3.0 fit FOMI mounting holes. G-CODE®, TacWare, TAC and Tough Clips pair a spring grip with an extended finger tab for easy on and off. UltiClip™ and UltiTuck™ clips pinch onto the waistband and lock with a lever. Flush Mount clips hold the rig tight to the body, while Drop-Style clips suit attachment points below the belt line.

Snap belt loops wrap the belt, lock with a Pull-the-Dot® or Durable® snap and mount with a slotted post and screw. They come in rubberized nylon canvas, 8-9 oz top-grain leather, heavy-duty rubber and rigid Tegris® or CURV®, with double straps in leather and rubber. J Hooks suit belts up to 1.50 inches and LAS Stiff Hooks are sized for 1.75 inch belts, while tuckable struts come plain or with a leather or nylon soft loop.
