Shop TEGRIS® thermoplastic composite sheet, a lightweight material designed for heavy-duty work. Choose Black, Coyote Brown or Silver/Gray in 6 layer (.030) or 12 layer (.060), with an 8 layer (.040) in Silver/Gray, in sheets from 8in x 12in to 2ft x 4ft.
TEGRIS® provides protection against fragment, projectile and blast threats while weighing less than traditional thermoplastics and composites. It is worked differently from KYDEX®, by pressing it into panels or compression molding it into shapes, and the result has the structure to stand up to rocks, baggage handlers, shrapnel and the other things life throws at it.
The layer count sets the thickness and rigidity of the sheet, from 6 layer (.030), the thinnest and most flexible, to 12 layer (.060), the thickest, stiffest and most protective, with 8 layer (.040) as a medium build in Silver/Gray. TEGRIS® keeps its impact performance even at -40°C, resists water, and offers high stiffness at a low weight.
