Knife Sheaths and Sheath Making Kits

Shop knife sheaths for carrying the knife you made, with finished leather and nylon canvas sheaths ready to wear on the belt plus leather and thermoform kits to build one yourself. Finished sheaths fit fixed blades from 4.00 to 6.50 inches long, and leather kits cover folders, a tomahawk and fixed blades up to a 12.0 inch filet blade.

A ready-made sheath puts a new knife on the belt right away. Black and brown leather sheaths come in several blade lengths with a snap strap or pouch style depending on the model, and the natural vegetable-tanned sheath for a 6.50 inch blade can be dyed, tooled and wet molded. The Econo sheath holds a 5.0 inch fixed blade with a riveted hook-and-loop handle strap, and nylon canvas sheaths fit 5.50 and 6.00 inch blades.

Building from a kit gives a sheath fitted to the knife it will carry. Seven kits come pre-cut in 8-9 ounce top-grain cowhide and are USA-made. They cover skinners, everyday fixed blades, a Bowie or camp knife to 11.25 inches, a filet blade to 12.0 inches, folders in an angled pouch and a tomahawk in a handled sheath. Two natural leather kits add a 5.0 inch sheath with a pre-attached snap and a pouch for up to four multi-tools or knives.

Thermoform kits mold the sheath to the knife. The CKK Belt Loop Design kit has a 12 x 12 inch KYDEX® sheet, rivets, a pre-formed belt loop and a ball chain for neck carry, and the Killer Coyote kit includes the same sheet size, rivets, loop and chain, with carbon fiber texture on one side of the sheet. The Multi Design kit uses two 4 x 8 inch BOLTARON® or KYDEX® sheets with a choice of three mounts.
