Composite Knife Handle Sheet, Scales and Spacer Stock
Shop composite knife handle sheet in G10, Micarta, carbon fiber, Damagrip™ and Ameragrip, from thin G10 spacer stock up to full handle sheets and ready-to-shape scale sets. Choose textured G10 or rubber-layered Ameragrip for a sure grip, or layered Damagrip™ that reveals new colors as you shape the handle.
G10 is woven glass cloth layered with epoxy resin under high pressure. Handle sheet comes in solid colors and two-color options like Blue/Black. Its thicknesses include 0.125in, 0.187in and 0.250in, and Double Black is also cut as a full 12.00in x 12.00in sheet. USA-made spacer sheet at .030 or .060 thick goes between scale and tang or adds a color line at a guard, bolster or buttcap. Coarse textured G10 in Black or OD Green ships under a peel-off protective film. Gunsmiths and holster craftsmen use G10 handle sheet as well, and it suits pistol grips, tool handles and sheaths.
USA-made Damagrip™ canvas laminate has thick contrasting color layers that come through as you mill, carve or checker. It is sold as 3D Layered strips up to 3.25in wide and as scale sets, and Liner Layer stock in Black/Green, Black/Orange or Black/Yellow turns two-tone as machining exposes the inner color. Black Micarta® comes in coarser canvas or finer linen, in narrow strips or full square-foot sheets. Carbon fiber sheet is 3K cloth formed under vacuum in Checkerboard, Cobra Skin, Honeycomb and Python Skin patterns. Ameragrip layers Coyote Brown G10 over black rubber, so the finished handle stays solid in the hand whether wet or dry.
