Three stainless steel styles come in packs of 25 with Torx drives. The flat head and button head take a T-8 driver, and the button head is offered in 0.250in and 0.500in thread lengths. The socket head takes a T-10 driver, is made in the USA from DFARS-compliant 302HQ stainless, and has a shallow design that reduces how much surface you remove. The Phillips flat head has a black oxide coating over stainless steel and is sold individually in a 0.365in length. It is matched to #4 finishing washers and can stand in for #6 Chicago Screws.

Titanium screws also come one at a time, so you buy the exact count a project needs. The CKK Design button head and socket head are 6AL4V titanium, turn with a T-8 driver and have a 0.250in thread, and a torch can color them to an anodized finish that matches the build. Made in Montana, Steve Kelly's shallow SK Design socket head comes in 0.250in and 0.375in thread lengths and gives folding knives, frame assemblies and handles a flush, low-profile finish in tight-clearance spots.

Both thread sizes, 4-40 and 8-32, can be compared in the sheath and holster screws collection. Head height, drive size and thread length each matter when fitting a handle, sheath or holster, so get in touch if you would like help weighing them.
