The GPC-1000 Gentleman's Pocket Carry Folding Knife Kit is a premium locking liner knife kit designed for craftsmen who appreciate both sleek modern styling and limitless customization. This kit is built with the same high-quality materials as our exclusive KnifeKits.com Designer Series, offering exceptional precision and durability. Crafted for versatility, the GPC-1000 can be transformed into a high-tech everyday carry with G-10, micarta, or carbon fiber scales, or finished as an elegant collector’s piece using exotic woods, pearl inlays, or custom engravings on the liners and bolsters. Every component is precision-machined, ensuring a seamless fit and smooth action. The AUS-8 stainless steel blade is cryogenically treated to a 56-58 HRC hardness for superior edge retention and durability. The stainless steel liners are heat-treated, and the locking mechanism is pre-bent and fitted with a secure ball detent, providing rock-solid reliability. While the GPC-1000 does not come pre-drilled for a pocket clip, this allows builders to add their own custom touches. KnifeKits.com offers an extensive selection of pocket clips for those who wish to add one.
This knife kit is rated Skill Level II-IV, making it ideal for both experienced builders and ambitious hobbyists looking to craft a truly one-of-a-kind folding knife.
Note: Completed kits with handle scales and backspines (shown above) are for completion demonstration only. Handle scales and backspine parts are not part of the basic parts kit.

This is one of the best locking liner kits made - very sharp blade holds a perfect edge. Curved bolsters are a challenge, but lots of fun to build.
