Other cores in the lineup include 1075, 80CrV2, 8670, and CruForgeV, plus 26C3, a high carbon steel known as Spicy White. Whatever the core, the 410 stainless clad bar measures 0.187 inch thick and 2 inches across, so the choice comes down to the core steel you prefer to heat treat.

Payton Pelland forges these Gambler Custom bars by hand in the USA, and they arrive normalized and annealed with the raw forged surface still on them. A fresh bar looks rough, and that changes once you profile, grind, and harden the blade.
