This is the USA Damascus configuration, forged from a 416-layer billet of premium carbon steels (52100, 5160, 203E, and 15N20) folded five times, producing a striking layered pattern along with reliable edge retention and toughness. Heat treated to 56-58 RC, it delivers a strong working edge that performs in real-world outdoor conditions while remaining serviceable for sharpening in the field. With a 3.50 inch blade, a 7.25 inch overall length, and a 0.130 inch blade thickness, the Saddle Skinner balances reach and control.
Every kit includes a heat-treated Damascus blade blank and stainless steel pinstock for handle construction, with two 0.156 inch tang holes for secure attachment.
