Colt® Holster Molding Props from Bluegun®
Shop Bluegun® Colt® props for 1911 holster work, with the standard 1911, the 4.25-inch Commander and a Commander shaped cocked and locked. Revolver holsters are covered by the Cobra 38 Special, King Cobra, Python and Single Action Army, each named with its barrel length.
The standard Colt® 1911 replica is set up for press or vacuum forming in KYDEX®, HOLSTEX® and BOLTARON®, whether the finished holster is headed for carry, competition or a collection. Leather work joins that list on the Commander, and the cocked-and-locked Commander ships with a dowel rod sized 6.0 x 0.187 inch for fine-tuning clearance.
Barrel lengths on the revolvers run from 2 inches on the Cobra 38 Special and 3 on the King Cobra up to 5.5 on the Single Action Army and 6 on the Python. Steel reinforcement brings the Cobra 38 Special replica up to revolver weight, and training is another listed use for it. Both the Python and Single Action Army take wet-forming along with press and vacuum work.
Beyond these Colt® models, the Bluegun® molding props page leads to replicas from other manufacturers, and our contact page reaches the shop directly with any Python, Cobra or 1911 order question.
