HOLSTEX® Carbon Fiber Sheet for Sheaths and Holsters
Shop HOLSTEX® carbon fiber sheet when a sheath or holster calls for the look of a realistic 3K twill weave. Armor Black comes with a smooth or a Tactical texture back and the other 16 colors are Tactical-backed, with gauges from .060 through .125 across the line.
Carbon Fiber Texture brings the look of woven carbon to our HOLSTEX® sheet line for sheaths and holsters. The 3D twill holds its definition without distorting or fading as you heat and bend the sheet, so a finished sheath or holster shows crisp detail and reflects light much the way real carbon fiber does. Besides Armor Black, the line covers grays like Storm Gray and Battleship Gray, earth tones like Flat Dark Earth, Killer Coyote and Ranger Green, and brighter picks such as Purple Haze and Zombie Green.
Start by cutting a blank a little larger than your sheath or holster pattern. Heated to 300°F to 375°F, the sheet can be shaped to the knife or gun with foam, a press or a vacuum forming setup. Once it has cooled, clean up the edges, and the sheath or holster keeps its molded form while staying lightweight. Each order includes detailed forming instructions.
