Lynx (USA Damascus) - DIY Knife Kit - (w/Handle Combos)

The Lynx Knife Kit is a compact, USA-made Damascus spear point platform designed for makers who value precision, balance, and clean execution in a small-format fixed blade. Built from high-performance carbon steels and forged into a striking 416-layer Damascus pattern, the Lynx delivers a refined blend of cutting efficiency, durability, and visual depth that makes it equally at home as a functional EDC build or a showcase-grade custom piece.

 

At 2.75 inches of blade length and 7.125 inches overall, the Lynx is intentionally sized for control and comfort in hand while maintaining a strong, purposeful profile. The hollow-ground, double-sided blade arrives heat treated to 56–58 HRC, giving builders a ready-to-finish foundation that holds its edge well and responds cleanly to final sharpening and finishing work. A full tang construction with precision-machined mounting points ensures reliable handle integration across a wide range of build styles.

 

Each Lynx features (2) 0.156" through-holes for handle pinning and a 0.250" thong hole for optional lanyard attachment, giving makers flexibility in both function and aesthetics. Stainless steel pinstock is included to simplify assembly, while the tang layout allows for easy adaptation to custom hardware or threaded fasteners.

 

This platform is offered in nine variations to support different levels of completion and visual styling. The base configuration includes the USA Damascus blade blank with pinstock only, ideal for full custom handle builds. The remaining eight variations are complete combo kits that pair the blade with pre-selected hardwood scales, allowing makers to move directly into shaping, fitting, and finishing.
