Bear, boar, cobra, eagle, hawk, lynx, ram, rhino, shark, walrus and wild cat heads lead the animal designs, with German Shorthaired Pointer and setter dog heads made with hunters in mind. Other pommels put a motif on the end and scrollwork on the sides, as on the Duck, Moose and Growling Bear designs. The Rattlesnake Tail pairs an engraved tail with a snakeskin scale edge, while the Engraved Cap with Loop and Floral Loop Caps I and II end the handle in a loop.

Eight designs come in both bronze and nickel silver, among them the Cobra Head, Eagle Head, Lynx Head and Moose Hoof. The Skull With Horns has a brass and a nickel silver version, so its metal can match your guard. The Bear Head has a closed jaw, or an open jaw in a satin finish, and the Boar Head is satin finished too. The Standing Bear has an unthreaded cast hole inside that adapts to most threaded tang rods.

The Harvey Dean Radiused Oval fits a hidden tang handle drilled through for a threaded fastener. This 420 stainless pommel comes heat-treated, satin finished and ready to engrave, and a recess in its fastener hole lets the tang nut sit below the surface or be flushed off smooth. A milled slot on the back takes the tang end and keeps the handle from turning.
