Mounting and Drilling Templates for Holsters and Sheaths

A template saves layout time when the same clip or loop goes on build after build. Lay the plate on your KYDEX®, Boltaron® or leather piece, mark through its holes and drill, and the hardware sits where it did on the last build. Each template is sold as a 1-pack in 3/16 inch steel plate, and fourteen can also be ordered in 10 gauge.

For clip carry, Flush Mount and FOMI Clip plates come with 0.875 inch or 1.0 inch hole separation, straight or with a 15°, 18° or 20° adjustable cant, and two dual adjustable versions set height as well. The Ulticlip template adjusts to a 15° cant, and others match the FabriClip and Molle-Lok® or Malice Clip attachments. Three 6-hole straight plates handle mounting posts, spacing 0.187 or 0.25 inch posts at 0.75 inch, or 0.25 inch posts at 1.0 inch.

Belt and duty rigs have their own plates. Small and large Tek-Lok templates come fixed or with a 15° adjustable cant, and others fit RCS Overhook and Strut hardware, Bravo Concealment and RCS pancake loops, and Speed Ease hardware for OWB taco holsters. Matching plates also cover the Safariland Paddle, ELS and SLS Hood, G-Code RTI hangers, the WRS hood, and duty and short drops, while the Combo Jig gathers belt slide, paddle, drop, Tek-Lok and RTI GCA patterns on a single plate.
