When a holster is molded around a gun with a weapon light, thermoform sheet can form too tightly around the light and sink into the trigger guard area, which can lock the molding prop or the gun in the holster. These widgets add clearance at those spots so the gun and prop release cleanly from the formed shell.

Made in the USA by American Safety Molds™, the widgets are easy to use and have been tested to hold up through repeated use. That means a pair bought for a one-time build can stay on the bench for high-volume production as well.

A light-bearing gun still needs retention and sight clearance, and you can pick up the plates, spacers and dowels for that in molding preparation tools. For a first build around a weapon light, ask us how the widgets fit into your setup.
