Shop leather holster kits for the Taurus® 1911 (5.00in) and 1911 Commander (4.20in), the PT92, PT99, PT100 and PT101, the 850, 85CH and Model 85, and the GX4 and GX4 XL. Every kit is made in the USA from 8-9 oz cowhide offered in Black or Espresso, and the gun each kit fits is spelled out in its title.
Most of these kits build a Pancake holster, an open-top design whose two leather panels close around the gun and stay snug through belt tension. The kits for the Taurus® PT92, PT99, PT100, PT101, 850, 85CH and Model 85 make right-hand holsters, and the kits for the Taurus® GX4 and GX4 XL carry a Universal Carry label. The 850, 85CH and Model 85 are listed as three separate kits, so order the one whose title matches the marking on your gun.
Style becomes a choice on the kits for the Taurus® 1911 (5.00in) and 1911 Commander (4.20in), which build either a Mini Slide or a Thumb Break. The Mini Slide wraps the gun in a short, high-riding belt slide with no cover over the top, while the Thumb Break adds a snapped strap that releases under your thumb. The kit for the 1911 (5.00in) is a right-hand build, and the Commander kit adds a carry option that makes its Thumb Break available for left-hand carry.
All eleven Taurus® kits ship their pre-cut panels with the same supply set, made up of threading needles and waxed thread, eyelets and mounting hardware, sandpaper and a 6-inch burnishing tool.
