Mountings for Knife Sheaths and Holsters
Shop Tek-Lok® mounts, IWB clips, soft loops, paddles, MOLLE clips, and thigh rig attachments that connect a knife sheath or holster to the belt, the waistband, PALS webbing, or a thigh strap. Gun holster makers will also find concealment wings and wedges, Level II hood kits, side car attachments, pocket adapters, and chest carry rigs.
Belt carry comes in two styles, outside and inside the waistband. OWB belt attachments carry a sheath or holster outside it on paddles, Tek-Lok® and Combat Loop mounts that swing shut around a belt or web gear, and drop and offset attachments that lower the ride height. IWB belt attachments keep it inside on leather, rubber, and soft belt loops, J Hooks, tuckable struts, and spring or fold-over clips, including universal models made for KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron®, and leather builds.
Webbing and straps add more places to carry. MOLLE compatible attachments fit PALS webbing, so a sheath or holster can ride on a vest, plate carrier, or battle belt, while strap attachments put it on a thigh strap or fasten straps and slings to packs. Mounting plates such as the Ultiplate and Tac-A.M.P. give a choice of holes or slots for setting where a sheath or holster mounts. A chest carry system mounts a gun holster on a backer worn across the chest, while duty belt keepers fasten the duty belt to the trouser belt so the whole rig stays put.
Other mountings add features to the gun holster itself. To cut printing, holster wedges tip the grip inward from the muzzle end, and belt claws and wings use pressure from the belt to rotate it toward the body. Level 2 retention kits fit a locking hood or snap thumb break, side car attachments give spare magazines and lights a spot on the holster, and pocket carry attachments adapt an inside-the-waistband or paddle holster for the pocket.
