Crafted in the USA from premium carbon steel Damascus, the USA Skinner features a hollow-ground blade that delivers excellent slicing performance while showcasing the distinctive layered Damascus pattern. The broad blade profile provides ample cutting surface and control, making it particularly effective for skinning, game processing, utility work, and general outdoor use.
With a blade length of 2.625 inches and an overall length of 6.875 inches, the USA Skinner delivers a comfortable balance of portability and capability. The blade measures 1.187 inches wide and features a full tang design for durability and strength. The tang incorporates two 0.125 inch holes and two 0.187 inch holes for handle attachment, along with a 0.250 inch thong hole for optional lanyard installation. The handle mounting holes can be modified to accommodate larger pins, tubing, mosaic pins, or threaded fasteners, providing flexibility for custom builds.
Each kit includes stainless steel pinstock to simplify handle installation. Builders may choose the blade-only version for complete customization or select one of the combo kits that include premium hardwood handle scales. Available scale options include Bubinga, Canarywood, Curly Maple, Lacewood, Mahogany, Purpleheart, Walnut, and Yellowheart.
