The Little Viper™ Knife Kit Collection is a versatile, compact fixed blade platform designed for makers who want a reliable, concealable, and highly customizable knife build. Engineered in the USA, this full tang design delivers a balance of precision, durability, and everyday carry practicality—making it an ideal foundation for both first-time builders and experienced knife makers.

 

At its core, every Little Viper™ kit is built around a compact 3.375-inch blade with an overall length of 7.56 inches, giving it a slim, controllable profile suited for concealed carry or light field use. The blade is 0.8125 inches wide and hollow-ground on both sides for efficient cutting performance and a comfortable in-hand feel. Two oversized tang holes (0.250-inch on Damascus models / 0.266-inch on high carbon models depending on variation) allow flexible handle construction, and stainless steel pinstock is included in every kit for secure assembly.

 

The collection is offered in multiple material configurations to match different builder preferences and performance expectations. The High Carbon Steel versions are forged from 1075 steel, heat treated to 59–61 HRC for excellent edge retention and rugged field durability. The Damascus versions elevate the platform with layered steel construction (up to 416 layers depending on model), delivering both enhanced visual depth and refined performance characteristics.

 

Each variation in the lineup is designed as either a base blade kit (blade blank and pinstock only) or a combo build kit that includes pre-machined hardwood handle scales. These scales are intentionally oversized and left undrilled, giving makers full control over shaping, pin placement, and finishing.

 

Handle material options span a curated selection of hardwoods chosen for strength, grain character, and visual appeal. Bubinga offers deep red-brown tones with bold striping. Canarywood delivers bright golden contrast. Curly Maple adds flowing figure and shimmer. Lacewood introduces dramatic flecking. Mahogany provides warm traditional richness.
