Designed by Master Bladesmith and National Living Treasure Jerry Fisk, this knife is a faithful tribute to the final Bowie knife design crafted by legendary Arkansas bladesmith James Black for Jim Bowie.

The Vintage Bowie features a 6.0 inch satin-finished blade crafted from premium 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel, a steel comparable to SUS440C. Heat treated and cryogenically treated for optimum performance, the blade achieves a hardness rating of 58-60 HRC, providing excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and durability. The blade measures 1.12 inches wide at its widest point and 0.125 inches thick, creating a balanced cutting tool suitable for a wide range of applications.
The full tang construction includes six precision-drilled tang holes for secure handle attachment. Each kit includes stainless steel bolsters, bolster pins, and handle pinstock, providing the essential components needed to complete a custom knife build.
Available configurations include a blade blank with bolsters and pinstock, as well as complete DIY kits featuring premium hardwood handle scales. Scale options include Bubinga, Canarywood, Curly Maple, Lacewood, Mahogany, Purpleheart, Walnut, and Yellowheart.
