Heat treated to 56–58 RC, the blade offers an excellent combination of toughness, edge retention, and cutting performance.
The full tang construction includes two 0.250-inch through holes for handle attachment and customization. Stainless steel pinstock is included with every variation, providing a strong and reliable foundation for handle installation. Depending on the configuration selected, the kit may be supplied as a blade-and-pinstock package or paired with premium hardwood handle scales that simplify the building process while still allowing ample room for shaping, contouring, and personal artistic touches.
The Damascus steel used in the Persian Prince is forged from a blend of 52100, 5160, 203E, and 15N20 carbon steels.
