Alien Hunter (USA Damascus) - DIY Knife Kit - (w/Handle Combos)

The Alien Hunter Knife Kit Series delivers a large full tang blade platform designed for bold custom builds, aggressive styling, and serious finishing potential. Centered around a sweeping 5.625" hollow-ground blade profile and a commanding 10.75" overall length, the Alien Hunter provides a strong visual presence while maintaining the balance and functionality expected from a hard-use fixed blade platform.

 

Each variation in the series shares the same USA-made Damascus blade construction and proven full tang layout, allowing builders to focus on handle shaping, finishing details, and overall presentation while selecting the handle material configuration that best fits the intended final build.

 

Every Alien Hunter blank features a 1.50" wide blade profile and three 0.125" through-holes for handle construction, with stainless steel pinstock included for assembly. The tang layout can also be modified to accommodate larger pins or threaded fasteners, providing additional flexibility for more advanced custom builds and hardware options.

 

The series is available both as a blade blank only configuration and as combo kits that include premium hardwood handle scales. Available scale options include Bubinga, Canarywood, Curly Maple, Lacewood, Mahogany, Purpleheart, Walnut, and Yellowheart—allowing each finished knife to take on its own distinct appearance, grain character, and overall personality.

 

Every blade in the series is crafted from USA-made layered carbon steel Damascus using a five-fold process that produces 416 total layers. The steel configuration combines 52100, 5160, 203E, and 15N20 to create bold pattern definition alongside dependable cutting performance, durability, and edge retention. Heat treated to 56–58 RC, the Alien Hunter platform is designed to perform with authority while delivering the unmistakable visual depth that defines premium Damascus steel.
